the tale of Baxter and the Stray....

The other night, we had our window open, and Baxter was sitting on the window ledge looking outside. We then hear what sounds like a cat in heat! I don't really know what i was thinking... but I then picked up Baxter and put him outside! I wanted to see what he would do!

All I saw was them just sniffing and looking at eachother! every night since... so the last two nights, she comes to our front steps and meows for Baxter! Last night I went to go open the door, and the cat ran into our house!! weird.

Saturday night about twenty minutes after we put Cohen to bed, Jeff and I heard a LOUD thud, soon followed by a LOUD scream. My heart instantly stopped, and the first thing I thought of was that he just fell out of his crib. I ran into his room, and he was 'luckily' in his crib screaming his brains out. I picked him up and loved him, and then rocked him to sleep. I just figured he bonked his head on his crib. The next morning, I was playing with him in my lap, and he turned his head, and his ear was completely blue and black!! He had smashed his ear that night!!! I couldn't believe it!! SOOOOO SAD!!!!! I tried to get a picture, but you'll have to look pretty close.

ha ha... this was last night. He will NOT let us lay him on his changing table to change his clothes, or diaper. He screams and cries, and throws a complete fit. So last night I tried to change his diaper on the floor....... Yeah, that didn't go so well either. And yes, I am completely against taking naked pictures of my baby... but come on, this is stinkin cute!!

My latest challenge is his diapers. the size 3 diapers are just a little too small... but the size four are gigantic!! these two pictures are of the size 4. They take up half his body!!!! He has been in size 3's for almost 5 months. geeeeeez.

Park Fun!

We have THE BEST park next to our place!! It's seriously awesome! And it's like 100 yards from our front door. Our nephews, of course, LOVE the park too... so we have so much fun there several times a week! Here are just a few pictures from our last outing...

I totally wanted Mike to win.... but I am sooooooo THRILLED that Helen won! WOW did they look AMAZING!!! And can you believe that old man!?? WHOA!

Okay, so I really don't like Adam Lambert, and really don't understand why he's so popular. How is screaming with your tongue hanging out singing????? I want Kris to win................
